Day 1 is open to any horse owner, vet or hoof trimmer/farrier who wants to further their knowledge in hoof care. These trimming courses are designed to further your hoof care knowledge. Clinic cost: $250

About the event
The first half of the day is spent learning the pathology behind a basic trim. The afternoon is spent applying that knowledge to your trimming skills, guided by experienced instructors who apply the Equine Orthopaedic Balance trimming principles. If you wish to participate in the trimming process, you are required to bring your horse, as horses are not supplied at our clinics.

Basic hoof anatomy
How the hoof works
Basic tool handling
Equine Orthopaedic Balance® trimming principles.
