Course Delivery and Practical Training
The theoretical component of the course can be commenced and completed conveniently from home using a personal computer. Practical training is delivered through an intensive two-week module at our seminar facilities in Biarra, Queensland, with sessions offered annually during the summer, typically in September or October.
Each participant receives individualised instruction and practical, hands-on experience working with both horses and dogs during technique laboratories. The program is designed to develop the clinical skills and confidence required to assess and address structural and functional conditions in animals.

Dr Ines Wecker
Dr Ines Wecker serves as the principal of BackBone Academy Australia, with her primary base in BackBone Academy Germany. Dr Wecker has been dedicated to teaching chiropractic courses for both professional veterinarians and doctors of chiropractic who work with humans for over the past ten years. She is a respected member of the International Veterinary Chiropractors Association (IVCA).
Dr Lena Clifford
Dr Lena Clifford is the Chief Executive Officer of Animal Biomechanical Solutions, an Australian company based in Biarra, Queensland. In addition to her leadership role, Dr Clifford is an active member of the Australian Veterinary Chiropractic Association (AVCA) and the International Veterinary Chiropractors Association (IVCA). She has shared her expertise through lectures at universities and chiropractic associations around the world, a distinction she shares with Dr Ines Wecker.
