This course is suited to any horse owner, vet or hoof trimmer/farrier who wants to further their knowledge in hoof care.

These courses are designed to build your knowledge as you attend progressive clinics. Therefore, you start by attending your first course, Day 1, continuing with Day 2, then Day 3, and so on until you have completed all clinics.

The first half of the day is spent learning the pathology behind a basic trim. The afternoon is spent applying that knowledge to your trimming skills guided by your experienced instructors applying the Equine Orthopaedic Balance® trimming principles.

Course attendees who complete all 14 one-day Basic Trimming Courses will be issued a Certificate of Attendance by the Board of Equine Orthopaedic Balance® in Australia.

We strongly encourage you to bring your own horse to learn no. However, you can pair up with a friend and have two people work on one horse together.

This course will be limited to a max of 12 people so please reply, ASAP when they are advertised if you want to ensure your spot at the course.
