Below are some examples of how we have helped clients and their animals.
This is my lovely mare Tandara Tsurami aka Tsu Tsu. We have been together since 2011 and I have finally found what keeps her sound and happy.
I have had her treated with Chiropractic, Emmett and Bowen therapies in the past and she responded well, but the combination of orthopaedic and biomechanical work with Darrall Clifford now has my mare sound and relaxed under saddle. I have also noticed that she will now canter off around the property spontaneously.
Thanks Darrall and Animal Biomechanical Solutions. I look forward to riding my lovely Tsu Tsu for many years to come.
Even though I am a trained equine hoofcare practitioner (Cert 3 in Equine Hoof Care 2010) and I know how to balance a hoof, sometimes I still need help in addressing the soft upper body tissues. One morning my mare Rosie had a serious fall in the paddock, and was unwilling to move & standing on 3 legs with a drooping shoulder.
I called the vet but they couldn't come out that day and recommended giving her some Bute & see how she was in 24hrs. Darrall had previously shown me how to send energy into the horse's body, so I started sending energy to her body with my hands. The next morning Darrall came out. He was relieved as I was that Rosie was weighting her leg & using it - even if it was gingerly & held in under her body. Darrall observed a problem at the poll relating to the nuchal ligament as a result of the fall, so he worked on that and then did some work on her wither. Within a few days she stopped stepping gingerly and within 2-3 weeks she relaxed overall body tension and could accept a good rub over her loin area.
Thanks Animal Biomechanical Solutions, for coming out within 24hrs and responding to my text almost immediately when I inquired about a visit, and also for giving me enough 'self help' tips that I could calm Rosie in her distress and send energy where she needed it.

It is my pleasure to provide a testimonial for Lena Clifford in regards to her work at Animal Biomechanical Solutions.
I've known Lena for two years, meeting at our local dog club. She has become my preferred method of treatment for my two dogs; an almost five year old Maltese/Shitzu cross named Rylee and an eleven month old Border Collie named Chilee.
They have been treated for a range of ailments including behavioural issues, emotional trauma (from a dog attack), infections, and skeletal and muscular strains. The treatments included accupuncture, herbs and biomechanical medicine.
Rylee has an on-going knee problem from a previous unsuccessful knee surgery that Lena has been treating with good success using accupuncture and alternative medicines, and has assisted me with a long-term management program. Generally though, Lena will treat and fix an issue successfully during early or first treatments, alleviating the problem and negating the need to come back time and time again (preventing escalating costs).
Dogs, including mine, are drawn to Lena's gentle, kind and compassionate nature, and they sit willingly with her while they are being treated. Her understanding of dogs and her empathy with them is a joy to watch. I have no problem recommending Lena to family and friends.
