Animal Biomechanical Solutions are facilitators of professional animal clinics and treatments, specializing in biomechanical medicine in all animals and the science of orthopaedic balance in equines, in conjunction with their relationship to the muscular-skeletal alignment of the upper body. We hold equine trimming courses for all participants wishing to attend and host animal chiropractic courses for Veterinarians and Doctors of Chiropractic for The BackBone Academy. Our clinics and hosting of The BackBone courses are held regularly throughout the calendar year.

Dr. Lena Clifford also applies her unique skills in complementary therapies, including acupuncture, Chinese herbal remedies and biomechanical therapy for all types of animals in our clients' care.

We are based in Biarra, Queensland, but we regularly travel internationally to lecture and consult on animal health.

Meet our
Company CEO and Director

Dr. Lena Clifford is the company's Chief Executive Officer and handles our day-to-day treatment schedules. Darrall Clifford TAE cert IV, is the company founder and Director and oversees the business operations within the company.

Dr. Lena Clifford, Dip

Dr. Lena Clifford, Dip (EOB), our company CEO, has trained as a veterinarian in Berlin, Germany, and also has completed her PhD in vet science in Hannover, Germany. She now specialises in animal acupuncture, Chinese herbal medicine and animal biomechanics. Dr. Lena Clifford now joined our team in Australia providing her unique skills and complementary therapies to our clients' dogs, horses and other animals in their care. Lena’s knowledge and understanding of the sciences make her an invaluable asset to the company.
Dr Lena does not work as a veterinarian in Queensland as she is not a registered vet in Australia.

Darrall Clifford TAE Cert IV

Darrall Clifford holds a certificate IV in training and assessment and is regarded as one of the foremost equine educators specialising in the science of equine podiatry, orthopaedic balance and biomechanical medicine. He lives in Australia and has a lifetime of experience with all types of riding disciplines and the problems associated with high-level performance, particularly those associated with the macro pathology of the foot and biomechanical effects in the upper body.
